Robin Blair’s 1956 Douglas Vespa 92L2 and Blacknell Gnat sidecar is October’s entry in the 2021 VVC calendar of members’ bikes. Robin has also recently posted a great video on YouTube of the restoration of his combo.

Christian Seidl of SIP first met Isabelle in Belfast, at Vespa World Days. This year, with friends, she came to Zell am See for the Vespa Alp Days.

The European Scooter Challenge ESC returned to the traditional and popular Harzring track for the last race of this year’s championship. Reason enough for SIP to travel there with a camera-team and a racing scooter.

While my 1974 Motovespa GT160 was in for a service I also got some new rubber fitted, with a pair of new bgm Classic tyres.

I collected my Motovespa GT160 the other week following a service at Retrospective Scooters and while there got a close look at this very tidy, original paint 1965 150 Sprint.
