Have you ever wondered how many Vespa models are owned collectively across the club, which model is the most popular, how many members own just one and how about those where owning one is just never enough...?? Well wonder no more, as below, VVC Chairman Roger Smith, sheds some light and provides a few answers to such musings, which makes for quite interesting reading…

Since the Veteran Vespa Club started using the membermojo system to maintain the membership records, there has been an option for members to record the model identity of their classic vespas, up to a maximum of five.

So thank you to 70% of the membership who have taken the time & trouble to record this information, to the other 30% I can assure you that your information will not be misused. Please endeavour to help the VVC get some complete up to date records.

So what can we glean from your data? To start with typically 60% of members have more than 1 vespa, and a fanatical 13% of you have 5 or more. (Warning !!! This information could damage your health if shared with non appreciative partners). Unsurprisingly for a UK based club, the GS150 VS5, the GS160 VSB, the SS180 VSC and the P200 range are the most popular models, accounting for nearly 30% of all members bikes.
