Veteran Vespa Club - Membership



The Membership year runs 12 months from the date of application or renewal.

Those members who have in the past elected to pay by Bankers Order will have their membership updatetd for them once their subscription is received by the club from their bank.

DO NOT FORGET TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT EXPIRY (You will not be eligible to access the Members area or receive your Journal unless you are a current member) Your Membership card will be posted to you following renewal. New Applicants will receive their membership card with a welcome pack.

Subscriptions are currently at TWO levels. £15 p/a FULL MEMBERSHIP
£20 P/A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP (This includes partner and children up to the age of 16)
If you would like Family Membership then simply include both names and the word FAMILY at the end of the line in the Name Box on the on line application. e.g 'Gordon & Sarah Brown FAMILY' & elect to pay £20 when you purchase your PASS

YOU CAN MAKE PAYMENT BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD OR PAYPAL ACCOUNT-WHEN YOU PROCEED TO THE PAYPAL PAGE If you do not either wish to create a PayPal account or prefer to use your normal credit/debit card then proceed through the process avoiding the option for a PayPal Account choosing your credit/debit card. If you have a problem then do contact us.

The alternative is that you may wish to pay using Internet Banking. If so then complete a profile when you will get a membership number. Send an e mail to membership quoting your new profile membership number and request bank details to enable you to make a payment to VVC bank account.

Overseas applicants may also prefer to use this method.

Once payment is received we will create your membership instantly giving you access to all areas of the members only section. We will then send your welcome information by post. RENEW MEMBERSHIP ON LINE
If your membership has recently expired and you wish to renew your membership, simply go to the members area and click 'Your Membership' to renew your subscription. YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF YOUR MEMBERSHIP HAS ALREADY EXPIRED. If as an existing member you prefer or cannot use PayPal then an alternative is e mail us at Contact for VVC bank details enabling you to make payment direct using Internet Banking when you should quote your Name and Membership Number.


The club is a branch of the Vespa Club of Britain. Due to a change in VCB rules VVC members will no longer be automatically eligible as Associate Members of VCB. w.e.f 1st June 2007 VVC members will no longer receive Vespa News (VCB magazine) and either need to join VCB to take part in VCB events (or pay Non member Fee) w.e.f 2007 To take part in EuroVespa you need to be a member of VCB and thereby World Club Vespa.

If you are resident overseas: £15 P/A. Overseas members are requested to pay by STERLING CHEQUE or cash. (Magazines will be sent by surface mail) If you are an existing member and wish to send via your bank then please request Bank details. If living in Europe and sending Euro's by arrangement to our bank then send E25.

What will I get if I join?



Club Benefits:

Fellowship with others who share your interest in all matters relating to Vespa.

Annual Club Rally where you can meet with other members and view bikes.

Quarterly Journal, reckoned to be one of the best bike club magazines around. These are becoming collectable. Much of the content is now being re-published in America.

The club has a Technical Officer, supported by a team of advisors who between them should be able to answer most of your questions about pre. 80’s bikes. This service is available only to members who must provide requests in writing or e mail and quote their membership number. There is a further opportunity on the FORUM for Members to answer each others Technical questions.

A volountary register of all bikes owned by club members.

Vespa Registration Service (For imported bikes needing UK registration documents) This is administered through Vespa Club of Britain. See Vespa Registration.

Discounts with agreed dealers and insurance broker

As a member of a BMF affiliated club you receive all the benefits of being a BMF member including their Discounts
